The first in-person post-COVID conference attended by Rebecca, Izaak & Ikhlas was the 41st BMSS Annual Meeting (Sheffield, 8-9 September 2021).
Rebecca presented a digital poster titled “Ion mobility insights into drug targets for prostate cancer” in the Biomacromolecular Structure section, and Ikhlas presented a digital poster titled “Mass spectrometry: A perfect fit for Intrinsically disordered proteins” in the Proteomics and Top-Down MS section.
On the 9th of September Izaak presented a flash oral presentation titled “Characterisation of DNA-ligand interactions using native mass spectrometry and collision induced dissociation” in the Native MS section.
Overall BMSS41 served as a great opportunity to communicate with leading mass spectrometry experts and to ease back into in-person networking.
