Rebecca, Liao, and Nicole participated in the AcylERATE Kick-Off Meeting for BBSRC sLoLa project focused on protein s-acylation, hosted at the Technology & Innovation Centre at the University of Strathclyde.
This meeting kicked off the AcylERATE project led by Professor Luke Chamberlain at Strathclyde, bringing together research groups from the University of Glasgow, Imperial, Coventry, and Oxford to study s-acylation dynamics and its biological importance.
Amongst group lead presentations, Rebecca introduced our group’s focus on utilising mass spectrometry to study protein s-acylation via intact and native mass spectrometry techniques.
Talks were also followed by fruitful group discussions on conceptual and technical areas such as substrate networks, structural biology, and proximity labelling.
We are excited to embark on this journey with the team!
