Cara and Beveridge group alum Izaak attended the first CamsPaMS (Cambridge Proteomics and Mass Spectrometry) meeting of 2026, an event called “The Ion Exchange”, which is an informal meeting of mass spec users of all career levels from in and around Cambridge.

The night started with an icebreaker quiz themed around mass spec contaminants, and there were two talks delivered by early career researchers, Husam Alabed and Nicole Asemota. Afterwards there was plenty of pizza to eat while getting to know the local mass spectrometry community.
