On 11th–12th December, Rebecca and Mxolisi attended the 1st Biomolecular Condensates Symposium in Sheffield. The meeting brought together experimental and theoretical researchers with a shared ambition to understand how and why cells organise themselves into membraneless organelles.
Rebecca organised and co-chaired a panel discussion on the challenges and opportunities of interdisciplinary collaboration, which generated lively and insightful contributions from both the panel and the audience.
During the meeting, we caught up with collaborators including Katherine Stott and Anton Calabrese, and enjoyed building new connections across this exciting and diverse community.
